We only process personal data (hereinafter mostly referred to as "data") in the context of necessity as well as for the provision of a functioning and user-friendly internet presence, including its contents and the respectively offered services.  

According to Article 4 (1) of EU Directive (2016/679, i.e. the General Data Protection Regulations, "Processing" is considered any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.  

With the following Data Protection Policy, we would like to particularly inform you of the type, extent, purpose, duration and legal basis of the processing of personal data in as far as we decide alone or together with others about the purposes and means of the processing. In addition, we inform you of the foreign components employed by us for optimisation purposes as well as the increase of the usage quality in so far as third parties are solely responsible for data processing.

II. Rights of users and affected persons

In terms of data processing described in further detail below, the users and affected persons have the right

  • to confirm whether their personal data is being processed, to information regarding the processed data, to further information regarding data processing as well as copies of the data (see also Article 15 GDPR);
  • to the rectification or completion of incorrect / incomplete data (see also Article 16 GDPR);
  • to the immediate erasure of their personal data (see also Article 17 GDPR) or, alternately, if processing is required based on Article 17 (3) GDPR, to restriction of processing according to Article 18 GDPR;
  • to receive the data concerning them and provided by them and the transfer of the data to other providers / controllers (see also Article 20 GDPR);
  • to complain to the supervisory authority if they believe that their personal data is processed by the provider under violation of data protection regulations (see also Article 77 GDPR)

In addition, the provider is obligated to in form all recipients to whom the provider has disclosed data of any corrections or erasure of data or the limitation of process, which occurred based on Articles16 and 17 (1), 18 GDPR. However, this obligation does not exist if this notification is impossible or associated with disproportionate effort. Regardless, the user is entitled to information regarding these recipients.

According to Article 21 GDPR, users and affected persons are equally entitled to object to future processing of their personal data, if the data is processed by the provider in accordance with Article 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. In particular, objection to data processing for the purpose of direct advertising is admissible.

III. Information regarding data processing

Your data processed when using our website are deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage no longer exists or if the erasure is not opposed by statutory preservation obligations or converse statements regarding individual processing techniques below.

Server data

Due to technical reasons, particularly to ensure a safe and stable internet presence, your internet browser transmits data to us / to our website provider. These so-called server log files collect, among other things, the type and version of your internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you have changed over to our internet presence (referrer URL), the website(s) of our internet presence you visit, data and time of the respective access as well as the IP address of the internet connection from which the usage of our internet presence originates.

The data thus raised is stored temporarily, however not in connection with other data from you.

This storage is legally based on Article 6 (1) lit. f. GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality and security of our internet presence.

The data is erased after seven days at the latest, unless further storage is required for purposes of proof. Otherwise, the data is completely or partially excluded from erasure up to the final clarification of an incident.

Contact enquiries / contact options

If you contact us via contact form or email, the data provided by you is used to process your enquiry. The provision of the data is necessary to process and respond to your enquiry - without their provision, we are not / only limitedly able to respond to your enquiry.

Legal basis for this processing is Article 6 (1) lit. b) GDPR.

Your data is deleted once your enquiry has been conclusively answered and if the erasure is not opposed by statutory preservation obligations, such as e.g. in case of a subsequent contractual transaction.

Google Maps

We utilise Google Maps in our internet presence to illustrate our location and provide travel directions. This is a service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as "Google".

With the certification according to the EU-US Privacy Shield

Google warrants that the data protection specifications of the EU shall be observed also for the processing of data in the USA.

In order to permit the illustration of certain fonts in our internet presence, connection is established to the Google server in the USA.

If you access the component Google Maps incorporated in our website, Google stores a cookie on your terminal device via your internet browser. Your user settings and data are processed in order to display our location and establish a route description. In the process, we cannot exclude that Google utilises servers in the USA.

Legal basis for this process is Article 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the optimisation of the functionality of our internet presence.

With the thus established connection to Google, Google can determine from which website your enquiry was sent and the IP address to which the route description has to be transferred.

We utilise YouTube in our internet presence. It is a video portal of YouTube LLC., 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, hereinafter referred to as "YouTube".

YouTube is a subsidiary company of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as "Google".

Google, and therefore also the subsidiary company YouTube, warrant that the data protection specifications of the EU shall be observed also for the processing of data in the USA.

We use YouTube in connection with the function "Extended data protection modus" in order to show you videos. Legal basis for this process is Article 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the quality improvement of our internet presence. According to information from YouTube, the function "Extended data protection modus" has the effect that the data, described in detail below, is only transmitted to the YouTube server if you actually start a video.

Without this "Extended data protection", a connection is established with the YouTube server in the USA as soon as you access one of our websites in which a YouTube video is embedded.

This connection is necessary to illustrate the respective video on our website via your internet browser. In the process, YouTube records and processes at least your IP address, the date and time of access as well as the websites you have visited. In addition, a connection is established to the Google web network "DoubleClick".

If you are simultaneously logged in to YouTube, YouTube allocates the connection information to your YouTube account. If you would like to prevent this process, you either have to log out of YouTube prior to visiting our website or change the respective settings in your YouTube user account.

For the purpose of functionality as well as to analyse the usage pattern, YouTube permanently stores cookies on your terminal device via your internet browser.
